Have you ever wondered what was stopping your friends or staff getting duplicate copies of your keys and helping themselves to your valuables while your out?

Have you ever leant someone a key to your premises to do some work or water the plants while you were on vacation?

Do you know who might have an extra copy of the keys to the home you have just purchased?

Unfortunately this is an all too common problem, there is simply no way to stop unauthorized duplication of your keys, without a restricted key system.

Email us for more information on how restricted keying can help you control access and stop unauthorized duplication of your keys.

What is a Restricted Key System?

A Restricted Key System utilizes patent protected keys and lock cores to restrict access to you building/complex and stop unauthorized duplication.

The special patented keys are only available to approved agents (i.e. you won't find them at the local shoe repair shop) and details about who is authorized to have them duplicated are recorded by your locksmith.

Northside Locksmiths will not cut a duplicate key without a letter/order signed by one of the Signatories for your system.  This gives you complete peace of mind, knowing that you know exactly who has your keys.

Some common Restricted Key "profile" (i.e. patented key/core designs) that we provide are listed below.

Who Needs a Restricted Key System?

Restricted Keying is simple and cost effective, making it a viable option for just about everyone.  Northside Locksmiths have successfully installed restricted key system for thousands of people, so whether you're a Home owner, Business or Government department, we can help.

The beauty of Restricted Key Systems is that they are an affordable way to improve your security.

Can It Be Master Keyed?

Restricted Key Systems can also be Master Keyed, making them the perfect solution for larger business/organizations.

See our Master Keying section for more details.

How Much Does it Cost?

The beauty of a Restricted Key System is that it is an affordable way to improve your security and restrict access to you building/complex.

As with Master Key Systems, the final price will depend on the size and complexity of your system, however a simple system will start at $30 per door.

As with most things in life, the more you pay the more you get.  An advanced restricted profile, such as Lockwood Twin, does cost a little more, but the benefits of even better security and pick-resistance make them a great alternative.
