Window Security

Many homes and businesses have inadequate window security.  Below is a list of our recommendations to improve your window security and reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime.

All non-key locking window locks will not stop a determined thief and should be replaced with keyed window locks.

Double-Hung Windows
		Fit a key operated multi-bolt to the side of the window, or replace the existing sashlock with a key operated sashlock.
Casement or Awning Windows
		Fit a key operated multi-bolt or patio-bolt to the opening side of the window.
Sliding Aluminium Windows
		Fit a key operated sliding window lock to the top or bottom sash.
